- x This would make an
interesting article for anyone who is in the area
or planning a trip to the American West (not
exactly Europe but I can't help passing on the
tip). A friend of mine writes...A few weeks ago I
did some volunteer work with a trail crew on the
Continental Divide Trail in Colorado and I met a
guy who has a business renting out trailers full
of camping equipment. For what seems like a
reasonable cost you can rent a trailer and not
have to worry about gathering, hauling, and
cleaning your own equipment, assuming that you
have it. Anyway, it seems like it could be worth
it under certain circumstances if you are
contemplating a camping trip out of Denver: http://coloradowildernesstrailerrentals.com/

- WfE - Let's
Enter the Blogosphere
- Everyday the Internet
invents, morphs and changes. A new payment tool
appears and changes the way we get paid (Paypal),
traditional advertising morphs and the little guy

exchange information (blogging). One of our
greatest challenges as travel writers is to keep
abreast of the potential of the Internet and use
it to our benefit.... [more

Easy Travel Photography Guide: Subsequent chapters of
this guide will show how to get the most out of
the camera that you have. The objective is to
train your eye to be as mighty as your pen (or
keyboard). There will be no discussion of
filters, film speed or other, specialized
equipment. So whether you have a sophisticated
SLR, a point & snap or a digital camera, this
guide will help you create images that sell your
travel article.
- Time of Day:
Travel and event schedule permitting, use
lighting to achieve photos with an impact. What
are the best times of day for great lighting? In
the morning and in the afternoon. What if an
event is scheduled mid-day or it is raining? I
will offer some solutions to take a saleable
photo under these conditions too! [more]
