Finding companies that pay for taking surveys online
Survey Scout is a company of which I am currently a client. It is a company that dedicates itself to the online survey market. They research the survey companies and classify them. I settled on Survey Scout because of this. No more searching the Internet. No more finding companies that don't offer the type of compensation that I was looking for.
Survey Scout provides an at-a-glance chart which tells you whether the company pays in cash or in prizes. Survey Scout maintains this list re-evaluating the companies on a regular basis.
Survey Scout is what I call a survey provider club. Their product is 'quick access to available, reliable survey companies'. They also list other offers such as companies that pay you monthly for car wraps (ads painted on cars), etc. They do charge for their product but they charge a reasonable price and offer a money-back guarantee.
A survey provider club is essential when you are launching your home-based survey-taking business. Whether you want to make money or receive free gifts and vouchers, a survey company club lets you focus immediately on the type of companies that you want to work with.
And you want to join more than one or two survey companies. Why? Because most survey companies send out paying surveys to people based upon their profile. A survey company may send out hundreds of paying surveys a month but your profile may only qualify you for 10 of those.
The reality is that most companies don't pay hundreds for a single survey. So, the objective is to join many survey companies and check your email every day for invitations. Then, take all the surveys that you want. The money that you make taking surveys online an hour a day will build up over a month's time. This is when you begin to see that you have a comfortable, convenient part-time business going from home.

A Quick Tutorial
- To start your business, open an email account exclusively for the purpose of receiving survey invitations and related mail. This doesn't cost anything as you can use any of the free email services offered by companies such as Lycos, Hotmail or Yahoo. Keep an eye on your email account JUNK FILTER as some survey invitations and survey newsletters may get caught in them.
- Join between 20 and 50 survey companies.
- Fill out your profile after you join. This takes a few minutes of your time so the trick is to join a couple of companies a day. After two weeks, you will begin to receive a lot of invitations to take surveys online.
- Check your email daily as invitations to surveys have a time limit. The availability of well-paying surveys may be as little as a couple of hours.
